Job Summary
We are partnering with a major engineering company in the North West that has secured significant projects in Energy Transition and Technologies, including Blue/Green Hydrogen and CCUS. As part of their expansion, they are looking to grow their Process Team by adding four skilled Process Engineers. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a dynamic and growing field.
Key Responsibilities
Develop process engineering deliverables, including Basis of Design, Heat and Mass Balances, P&IDs, and datasheets.
Ensure the highest standards of HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) and quality are maintained throughout all project phases.
Collaborate closely with clients to develop project specifications, conduct feasibility studies, and refine project goals.
Serve as the Owner’s Engineer, managing relationships between clients, technology providers, EPC contractors, and vendors.
Deliver capital projects as part of a project team, controlling man-hours, deliverables, and timelines to ensure successful project completion.
Develop comprehensive proposals, including both technical and commercial deliverables.
Qualifications
Degree in Chemical Engineering, with chartered membership of IChemE.
Strong practical knowledge and experience in engineering design, whether in a contracting or operations role.
Experience in process safety design, including Hazard Studies, SIL determination, and LoPA’s.
Proven experience in key technologies/sectors such as Industrial Biotechnology, Hydrogen, Thermal Processing, and Fine Chemical Manufacturing.
