I am currently looking to speak with an experienced Principal Subsea Engineer to join a client based in Hampshire.
Hybrid: 12 days per month to work remotely + 1 day carry over to next month. As such typically around 60% of time working remotely is available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.
Projects: Carbon Capture / Onshore / Offshore / Hydrogen / Renewables
Key Responsibilities
Prepare technical documentation for subsea structure and tie-in systems across all project phases, including Conceptual Study, FEED, and Tender and Contract package preparation.
Follow up on large EPCI contracts for offshore projects, ensuring the design of subsea structures and tie-in systems meets project requirements, codes, standards, and best practices while minimizing costs and risks.
Oversee supplier call for tender and selection, including qualifications, clarifications, and recommendations.
Review and approve FEED, Tender, and Detailed Engineering performed by contractors.
Serve as Company Representative for subsea structure and tie-in systems during fabrication, testing, interfacing, packing, load-out, installation, commissioning, and start-up activities.
Develop the company's expertise and know-how for subsea structure and tie-in systems.
Manage subsea structure and tie-in systems activities within the Subsea Systems department.
Collaborate with colleagues within the Subsea Systems department and other disciplines during project execution.
Ensure compliance with design standards, internal company standards, and HSEQ policies
Minimum Requirements
Degree in engineering
Experience in various project phases, including Concept, Basic/FEED, and Detail Engineering, for both onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects.
