Overview:
The client I am working with leads the UK’s transition to a low-carbon economy. They are seeking an ambitious Sustainability Co-Ordinator to join the team in Cardiff. In this role, you will ensure effective communication, planning, implementation & monitoring of environmental programs.
Responsibilities:
As the Sustainability Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for supporting the energy departments internally & externally. You will assist the operation of ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standard management systems through document reviews, audits etc. You will co-ordinate and support the delivery of live engagement events, workshops and training sessions.
Experience:
- Undergrad and or Postgrad in a relevant discipline eg. Sustainability
- Passionate about sustainability and determined to pursue a career in the sector
- Highly confident communicator
- Understanding of environmental standards eg. ISO 14001
- Internship/ a few months experience in a similar role is desirable
