This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated IT Solution Developer to join Corio’s offshore wind business and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.
In this role you will work with a number of different departments with the goal to develop practical solutions using a range of different platforms and tools. This includes but not limited to improving processes in our business by utilising Power Automate, developing business intelligence dashboards in Power BI, helping us to integrate our applications and data and developing simple applications in a low-/no-code app development environment.
We are looking for someone who will be able work independently, can learn new things quickly and passionate about solving problems in a practical and efficient way.
Main Responsibilities:
- Automate internal processes by designing and implementing workflows in Power Automate or similar tools.
- Develop and design end-to-end Power BI solutions, including data acquisition, transformation, data modelling, and report/dashboard creation, to meet business requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Developing low-/no-code applications with a range of different platforms (e.g. Quickbase).
- Developing one-off solutions using a range of tools, including VBA macros in Excel, Power Query, Power Automate etc.
- Integrate data across applications (e.g. using tools like Azure Data Factory).
- Take responsibility for own continual professional development, ensuring up to date industry and technical knowledge in line with the above and other business needs.
Skills / Experience / Education:
- Power Platform
- Microsoft Power BI Development (3+ years experience)
- Microsoft Azure Analytics and Integration Products. Most essential is:
- Microsoft Fabric
- Azure Data Factory
- Logic Apps
- Advanced Excel Skills (e.g. Power Query, VBA Macros etc.)
- Some development/coding experience and/or development of applications in a low-/no-code environment (e.g. Mendix, Quickbase, Power Apps, Retool etc.).
- A bachelor’s degree or certification which matches the above skills and experience
