We are currently recruiting for a Health, Safety and Environmental Officer on a permanent basis for a busy organisation based in Stockport.
The main purpose of the role will be to be responsible for all safety, health and environmental impacts and risks onsite to ensure the business is compliant with health, safety and environmental legislation and regulations. You will identify hazards, risks, incidents and accidents and advise the business accordingly. You will ensure managers and staff are appropriately trained.
The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH Certificate in Construction along with ideally NEBOSH Environmental Management with experience advising a business on health, safety and environmental issues. You will also have knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 with experience implementing and monitoring health and safety processes and systems.
Past experience and knowledge in mechanical / electrical engineering, civil engineer, engineering, electricity at work Act, Gas Safety Regulations, CDM Construction Design and Management would be highly desirable.
Hours of Work: Mon-Thurs 8.30-5pm and Fri 830-4pm
