PM Group is seeking a Project Engineer to join a client in the Cambridgeshire region.
Scope of Work
- Supporting the selection and implementation of equipment and its conformity as well as working with the existing team in ensuring the equipment is integrated to automation standards and policies.
- Project electrical engineering services for the investment project installation project.
- Support the project team in integrating new equipment and ensuring it conforms to electrical requirements
- Provide electrical assistance throughout the life-cycle of the project.
- Support the project team in integrating the equipment to central automation network, ensuring the equipment meets data integrity requirements and automation site
- Responsible for creating, review and approval of equipment design documents specialising in electrical, software and automation controls (URS, HDS, SDS, Risk Assessments).
- Liaise with engineering and production SMEs to compile equipment information to ensure control system and equipment is configured to correspond to the Critical Process Parameters.
- Execute systems upgrade / new equipment work as required (URS, DQ, Validation planning, Validation protocol). Review, execution of CSV.
- Equipment/System SOPs will need updating to reflect the new ways of working brought into effect by the new equipment. Provide electrical assistance throughout the life-cycle of the project.
- Provide project planning services as required to assist the OT & Automation Manager with the upgrade / new equipment projects.
Requirements
- Candidates must have proven experience of working as a project engineer on multiple manufacturing pharmaceutical projects.
- Electrical biased experience
- Controls system knowledge
- Understand purpose of the automation protocols, OPC, domain connectivity, concept of PLC's, equipment connected to network
- Work alongside other departments such as Automation
