Test Driven Solutions have had a successful 4 years, building a close knit culture and delivering to a variety of clients. Our consultants work across green and brown field projects, driving the latest cutting-edge technologies.

We work within the private and public sectors, including financial services, government, healthcare, manufacturing, education, property, broadcasting and renewable energy organisations.We are continuously growing as a business, with new client wins and an internal project on-going.

Once a year we organise a company away weekend, so far we have travelled to Amsterdam, Dusseldorf and Riga. The majority of our staff are located in Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Wroclaw and Calgary. Our Headquarters are located on the Quayside of Newcastle’s city centre, this is where you will work from as a graduate in the company.

What you will be involved in:

You will start off by working alongside senior consultants, including developers and testers, in an initial phase of structured learning in one or more technologies. Once past this, you will then have the opportunity to self-direct the focus on your learning - whether that is to specialism or generalism, in a variety of ways, including the potential to support the development of our internal product. From this, you will gain knowledge of a variety of technologies and learn how to achieve best practices across the development lifecycle.

Once you have found your feet and feel comfortable, you will be assigned to a client project with a member of the TDS team. During your time on client work, you will support the design, development and maintenance of SME level applications. You will have the chance to engage with external IT teams, including liaising with stakeholders and product teams to gather requirements at an entry-level. This will give you a real insight as to the service we provide to our clients as consultants.

Requirements:

A recent graduate in a STEM field, such as Computer Science or Mathematics.
A passion for development in one or more of the following areas:
Java
.Net/C#
JavaScript
Python
Demonstration of coding abilities through previous projects.
Excellent communication, collaboration and organisational skills.
Awareness of the software development lifecycle.
Understanding and appreciation of Agile and Scrum methodologies
