Remote + travel to Leeds, UK

Our client is an established energy services company based in the UK, which offers an array of energy-efficient solutions including energy audits, project management, design and renewable energy technology deployment. Having won several residential and commercial low carbon contracts in the UK, they're now seeking an Energy Engineer to support on the design and delivery.

The role duties include:

Support the Lead Engineer in the development and implementation of energy saving solutions for retrofit projects.
Participate in the design and execution of technical solutions, such as district energy, heat pumps, solar pv, and other sustainable and energy-efficient alternatives.
Provide technical support to the business development, commercial, and project delivery teams, and assist with scoping and identifying the best energy saving opportunities and general solutions
Be responsible for energy modelling and savings calculations, producing engineering and design documentation, liaising with specialist subcontractors, and supporting with planning applications and general consents activities.

The ideal candidate will have an Engineering background and demonstrate and interest in the low carbon/ decarbonised energy sector.
