ChargeGuru – Who are we?
ChargeGuru is a fast-growing scale-up with a mission to make EV charging simple for everyone. We design and deploy intuitive and scalable charging solutions for individuals and businesses, tailored to suit our customers' needs. Our platform business model uses the best software to enable an efficient and simple design & installation process and has been successful in securing strong partnerships across Europe with electricity companies and with Automotive OEMs (BMW, Volvo, Porsche, Tesla, Ford) to feed its growth.
ChargeGuru was founded in France in 2018 and has since expanded to Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Italy, Germany and most recently the UK & Ireland.
The Role:
To help continue to grow our activity in the UK & Ireland, ChargeGuru is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Residential Charging Coordinator to join our expanding team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of our home EV charger installations, providing a seamless experience for our customers and installation partners. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations (UK & Ireland), you’ll also work closely with the wider team and will have direct interaction with our international Global Design team, when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on quotations and be available for customer queries prior to the customer confirming their order via our Customer Portal.
- Coordinate the end-to-end operational process for residential EV charging installations, from order confirmation to successful completion and handover.
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers regarding scheduling, installation progress, and requirements, ensuring excellent communication throughout.
- Schedule and coordinate installations effectively with our network of approved third-party installation partners.
- Provide first-line support for customer and installer queries related to scheduling and processes, and escalate technical issues as needed.
- Compile, manage, and maintain all necessary documentation for each installation project, ensuring that records are kept up to date in our systems.
- Monitor installation progress, identify potential delays or issues, and proactively work towards solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our residential installation processes, systems, and overall customer experience.
About You:
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- A taste for challenges and taking responsibility within a fast-growing, exciting, European-wide organisation.
- Proven experience in a coordination, scheduling, administration, or customer service role, ideally within a technical service or installation environment.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with experience liaising with customers and external partners.
- Confidence in working collaboratively across different teams to achieve shared goals.
- A rigorous, autonomous, and detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g. Google Suite) and comfortable learning new CRM or scheduling systems.
- An interest in the electric vehicle market, EV charging technology, renewable energy, or the Energy Transition is preferable!
- A desire to learn, develop, and progress within an exciting and challenging industry.
If you think you're the right person to help make EV charging simple for everyone - then we'd love to hear from you!
