Your future team :
The Environmental Technician will report directly into the Environmental Manager, and will be responsible for supporting with influencing, improving and reporting on environmental performance and culture at ROCKWOOL UK.

What you bring :
- Relevant qualifications or degree in a science-based subject
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Capable of planning and organising work effectively
- Laboratory or sampling experience would be desirable
- Willingness to learn and develop in an exciting company
What you will be doing :
- Sampling and analysing emissions to water at the specified frequency
- Monitoring and analysing emissions to air at the specified frequency
- Carrying out factory inspections for environmental issues at the specified frequency
- Monitoring CEMs’ (Continuous Emission Monitor) performance and take action to resolve issues identified
- Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment
- Sampling materials and conducting moisture analysis
- Taking samples of raw materials and waste materials and pack for external analysis
- Monitoring flow and rainfall data on a regular basis and maintain the associated spreadsheets
- Maintaining spreadsheets containing results of analysis and report on trends
- Taking energy meter readings and collating reports
- Investigating sources of environmental issues and taking action to resolve
- Issuing daily, weekly, monthly environmental reports
- Delivering environmental training
