Location: Glasgow (80 St Vincent Street) or Edinburgh (Stobo House, Midlothian Innovation Centre, Roslin) with travel expected to site, as required.

Green Cat Hydrogen Limited (GCH) is a dynamic and innovative green hydrogen project developer. GCH focus on the deployment of electrolytic hydrogen projects as a key part of the global energy transition and de-carbonisation strategy. The business works closely with sister companies through the planning, permitting/licensing, engineering and design and construction of green hydrogen projects.
We are seeking a motivated and talented project coordinator with experience in driving process and supporting busy project teams. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, supporting project managers and project engineers, gaining valuable experience in the hydrogen and the renewable energy sector within a supportive and dynamic team.
The Role:
- Drive project governance by owning key processes, ensuring processes are being followed by all team members and are adding value to the team.
- Maintain and update project documentation including schedules, scopes and reports.
- Coordinate meetings, preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes and capturing actions.
- Track project progress including key milestones and deadlines, being proactive in following up where necessary.
- Assist with budget tracking, reviewing committed and forecasted spend to highlight potential variations early.
- Support with key project administration such as purchasing / POs and maintain project document control, including versioning and distribution.
- Help prepare presentations, status reports, and other project materials.
- Support risk management across the team, recording identified risks and ensuring risks are frequently reviewed and mitigations executed.
- Support supplier management, ensuring supplier information is regularly updated and appropriate confidentiality agreements and supplier assessment documents are in place and maintained.
- Provide other ongoing support on a need’s basis to a busy project team, whose needs may be varied and diverse.
The Candidate must have:
- Proven experience in project coordinator or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, supported by a valid UK driving license.
- Legal right to work full-time in the United Kingdom, in perpetuity.
The Candidate would benefit from familiarity with:
- Project management software (MS Project or Others).
- Project management methodologies / governance frameworks (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, PMP).
- Basic finance tracking (e.g. budget management, cost reporting).
- Contract administration including RFQs, POs and onboarding processes.
