What You’ll Do
- Lead small, fast-paced projects delivering SCADA & RTU-based control systems
- Oversee design, development, documentation, testing, and commissioning
- Guide technical teams and support cross-discipline collaboration
- Engage with substation projects in transmission and distribution
- Produce functional specs and lead internal/external acceptance testing
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in SCADA configuration (Zenon, PCS7, WinCC, FactoryTalk, etc.)
- Proven ability to lead projects and review technical work
- Experience with substation automation tools (RTUs, Bay Controllers, Gateways)
- Familiarity with IEC61131 programming and QA/project lifecycles
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
Bonus Skills
- Experience with protocols (IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3), virtualisation, and network config
- Hands-on with platforms like GE C264, Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000
- Understanding of renewable energy systems, safety/cyber standards (IEC 61508, 62443)
