The role
The Environment & Sustainability Analyst will support in delivery of the group wide Manchester Airport Group (MAG) sustainability programme. This support covers a wide range of environmental projects and activities in order to capture the necessary information and data for compliance purposes, to report progress and achieve sustainability objectives and targets. The post will be pivotal in the co-ordination of environmental standardisation across the group and on-going sustainability improvement.
You will liaise with all departments and key stakeholders to gather information and data pertaining to sustainability, help to organise sustainability meetings and working groups, including tracking progress of actions and taking meeting minutes. You will maintain various registers, databases and action trackers relevant to environmental activity to support the sustainability programme and build and maintain strong links with key departments including HS teams, Planning and Communications team to promote sustainability.
What will make you successful in the role?
We are looking for someone who has a passion for sustainability issues, who is used to working with a collaborative approach and can build productive relationships with colleagues. You will be self- motivated with an excellent research and report writing skills. Ideally you will have experience working in sustainability with knowledge of ISO14001 (desirable). You will also have an understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) relevant concepts in sustainability and environmental management systems.
