How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Air Liquide is currently searching for a skilled and experienced Process Risk Manager to join the team and help maintain the highest safety standards across our UK business. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing and proposing mitigations for potential hazards to ensure our business operates at the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting process risk studies for new and existing industrial facilities notably HAZOP and LOPA.
- Supporting facilities with SHEQ annual plan implementation and multi-year risk management plan coordination.
- Acts as main contributor and facilitator of Safety Critical Task Analysis (SCTA) as part of HOF studies.
- Acts as Process Safety incidents reviewer and validator and performs root cause investigations
- Trains and coaches facility managers and other relevant personnel in regards to process risk management process.
- Conducts reviews and inspections in the field primarily on critical installations.
- Coordinates activities related to HSE interventions on COMAH facilities.
- Acts as Risk assessor for relevant domains of expertise for Management of Change requests.
Are you a MATCH?
The ideal person for this role will have a strong understanding of Process Risk Management, and will have good knowledge of UK COMAH regulations ideally gained from hands-on experience in a previous role.
We also look for:
- 5+ years experience in similar roles,
- Demonstrated success in conducting critical Process Risk Studies, including HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA, or other advanced risk assessment methodologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable local process risk regulations, codes, and standards.
- A relevant technical bachelors degree such as Engineering, or equivalent work experience
