We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Solar Inverter Country Manager to drive our sales strategy and expand our market presence in the solar inverter sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar energy systems, particularly in inverter technology, and a proven track record in developing and managing sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share for our solar inverter products
- Identify, recruit, and manage a network of distributors, resellers, and system integrators
- Provide technical and sales training to channel partners on our inverter product line
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
- Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and materials for channel partners
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and channel partner activities
- Work closely with the product development team to provide market feedback and suggest product improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field; MBA is a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience in solar inverter sales or related solar energy products
- Proven track record in developing and managing successful sales channels
- Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, particularly inverter technology
- Excellent understanding of the solar energy market, including regulations and incentives
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50% of the time)
