Delta H is looking for an experienced consultant to join our growing team.
We are a small consultancy dedicated to accelerating the transition to zero carbon energy systems. As a consultancy driven by a passion for decarbonisation, we only work on projects we believe can create significant positive change in the world: large scale, high ambition, and genuine commitment to deliver emissions reductions. Our leading expertise on energy storage, hydrogen, and green chemicals means we work on some of the most innovative and vital projects in progress today.
Having established an excellent reputation with our clients, our goal is to grow our service offering and expand our team to meet strong demand from the sector. We are looking for a senior / principal-level consultant with 2+ years of experience working in the zero carbon space, who is ready to take on more responsibility and accelerate their career in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as a key contact point for clients throughout project delivery
- Overseeing the delivery of our projects on time and at the highest level of quality
- Managing junior team members to deliver projects and achieve their potential
- Developing new service lines and onboarding new clients to accelerate the energy transition
- Leading internal initiatives to make Delta H a more efficient and enjoyable place to work
Required skills:
- 2-5 years’ experience working in zero carbon energy
- Track record of taking initiative and delivering excellent quality work
- Engineering, science, or maths degree from a top university
- Fluent in English
Preferred skills:
- Experience working within the hydrogen, energy storage, industrial decarbonisation, and green chemicals sectors
- Understanding of the zero carbon funding and policy landscape in the UK and Europe
- Experience in a client facing role within consultancy, or working collaboratively at a clean technology OEM / project developer
- Experience managing a team
- Track record of developing new business
- Fluency in a second language
