We’re partnering with a global engineering and manufacturing leader in the energy and renewables sector, and they’re looking for a driven Proposal Engineer to bridge technical design and client-facing proposals.
You’ll be at the forefront of securing major projects in oil & gas, renewables, hydrogen, carbon capture, power generation, and waste-to-energy—gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies and global markets.
What You’ll Do
- Turn customer specs and drawings into winning proposals.
- Carry out preliminary mechanical/thermal engineering calculations.
- Collaborate with suppliers for cost and technical input.
- Create clear, accurate cost estimates and persuasive proposals.
- Recommend smart technical alternatives to boost value and performance.
- Meet clients across the UK and occasionally overseas.
What You’ll Bring
- HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 2+ years in technical sales, applications, or proposals engineering.
- Strong grasp of mechanical principles and industrial design.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes for fabricated/integrated products.
- Great communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
