Your Role
As the Lead for Stakeholder and District Liaison, you will play a pivotal role in driving stakeholder engagement strategies that support the Bee Networks vision. You will develop and implement structured engagement plans, forge relationships with local authorities, MPs, and community groups, and ensure stakeholder insights shape service improvements. Acting as a senior point of contact, you will provide strategic advice, manage emerging challenges, and represent TfGM at high-profile meetings and events.

Who are we?
The Bus Services Team at TfGM is at the forefront of delivering the Bee Network, the UKs biggest public transport reform outside of London. With the introduction of bus franchising, we are bringing buses back under local control to create an integrated, accessible, and customer-focused transport network. This role is an opportunity to be part of this transformation, working with stakeholders to ensure communities across Greater Manchester have a say in shaping the future of bus services. We are looking for an experienced stakeholder engagement professional with a strong background in transport, local government, or community engagement. You should have exceptional relationship management skills, the ability to influence decision-making, and experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including local authorities, councillors, and community groups. Strong written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking, and experience leading engagement activities such as public consultations or workshops are essential.
