Fourblue are partnered with a data centre company who play a major technical role in building and supporting data centre infrastructure across Europe. We are now looking for an LV/HV Project Engineer to join our team in Slough. In this role, you will take full responsibility for electrical engineering activities, leading projects from the technical design stage through to onsite installation and successful commissioning. This is an exciting opportunity to work on major, high-profile projects where your expertise in LV and HV systems will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Review & Problem Solving – Carry out detailed electrical design reviews to identify gaps, resolve issues, and ensure specifications are met without delay.
- End-to-End Delivery – Take ownership of LV/HV systems from design coordination through to installation and commissioning, ensuring project deliverables are achieved.
- Progress & Quality Assurance – Attend and record regular meetings with the supply chain to track progress, maintain programme targets, and ensure works meet the highest quality standards.
- Compliance & Safety – Ensure all works comply with relevant HSE legislation and company HSEQ management systems (ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001).
- Collaboration – Work closely with site management teams, subcontractors, and clients, reviewing installations with the BIM team to guarantee constructability, access, and maintainability.
Who We’re Looking For
- A relevant third-level qualification and certification in Electrical Engineering.
- 5–15 years’ experience in electrical engineering, covering both design and project delivery.
- Strong background in LV and HV systems.
- Skilled in compiling test packs, FTOPs, and O&Ms, with confidence in presenting for approval.
- Excellent IT proficiency, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- A self-starter who can work independently and take initiative.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
- Must have work authorisation for the United Kingdom.
