The Operations Planning Team have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the team as an Operations Planning Administrator on a 6-month Fixed term contract. This is a key role in Warehouse Operations. You will forecast, plan and execute a high-quality labour plan for the Trafford Warehouse. If you are someone who pays attention to detail, who likes to have control of the operational story, and want to be empowered to make important decisions that involve our people and our operation, then this role is for you!
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Ensure that we serve ‘Our Customers’ to the highest possible standard
- Plan the day to day running of ‘Our Operation’ to ensure the smooth running of the Goods in / Goods out / picking function
- Liaising with the Supply Chain team to efficiently manage daily processes to deliver the business
- Plan for all operational training to take place whilst maintaining a strong operational capacity. This will support ‘Our People’ in their learning and development, in line with ‘Our Future’ growth plan
- Be resilient in your approach to delivering the best possible operational daily plan, and drive sustainability in line with ‘Our Environment’
You Have
- The ability to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines and targets.
- Good overall understanding of customer requirements and the ability to adapt to their needs.
- Good overall understanding of warehouse picking and quality processes
- A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A flexible approach to work tasks and working hours to meet the needs of the business
- High regard for quality and safety
- The ability to use your own initiative and confidence in your decision making.
