Data Engineer

London Based - Hybrid - 2 days per Month

£55,000 - £65,000 Basic Salary DOE

We have just partnered with an impressive leading UK and EU household name within white goods and Renewable Energy who are looking to add a talented Data Engineer to help shape and scale their cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain Azure infrastructure using Bicep or Terraform
Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML)
Mentor junior engineers and support technical growth
Improve monitoring, alerting, and platform reliability
Champion automation, security, and best practices
Align infrastructure with technical and business goals

Experience

Proven experience in data engineering, including ELT pipelines, large/complex datasets, and Spark-native platforms (Databricks, Fabric, Python, etc.).
Strong knowledge of Azure data services, orchestration tools (Azure Functions, Airflow, AWS Lambda), and modern data architectures.
Expertise in data governance, quality, and modelling, with a strong grasp of privacy and lifecycle management.
Solid grounding in cloud security, CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and building scalable, resilient, reusable solutions.
A collaborative, innovation-driven mindset, with excellent communication skills and a passion for technical excellence.
Proficiency in IaC (Bicep/Terraform) and Azure DevOps
Track record of building secure, scalable cloud platforms
Great communicator and team collaborator
Proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Bonus: Familiar with Node.js, TypeScript, or .NET
