About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join our growing performance department. This department works in conjunction with others to deliver capabilities within F1, customer and Applied Science projects.
We are looking for a dynamic individual to take the key responsibilities outlined below and develop them in a self-driven manner. As well as experienced candidates, we would welcome the opportunity to speak to those who are in the formative stages of their career (including graduates) but show a clear interest in this area and have a drive to learn and develop into this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Head of Departments / Leads to develop project and resourcing plans which will enable the team to provide support to our customers.
- Track the work against the plan and communicate progress and highlight risks.
- Understand our processes and seek opportunities for efficiencies.
- Organise and chair project meetings.
- Prepare agendas.
- Prepare / distribute meeting notes.
- Collate and present key metrics, sharing meaningful insights.
- Chase actions to be completed.
- Track the time allocated to projects and communicate status.
- Work with Head of Departments/ Leads to develop recovery & communication plans.
- Ensure the correct time tracking is in place and use is clear.
- Work with finance to ensure resourcing plan is communicated.
- Prepare project status summaries for the wider business.
- Manage the CAPEX process for projects that require additional resources.
- Monitor and improve our ability to estimate project timescales and resources.
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrable experience of working in a fast-paced environment across multiple teams.
- Communicative and collaborative skills to deliver effective cross departmental results.
- Takes the initiative and doesn’t need to be told to go and find opportunities and test new ideas.
