We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Project Engineer to deliver bespoke, turnkey projects from concept to commissioning.
You’ll join a forward-thinking engineering business that values innovation, safety, and teamwork — managing multiple small to mid-sized mechanical projects (typically £10k–£250k) across Glasgow.
🚀 What You’ll Do
- Lead mechanical and process installation projects from design to handover.
- Develop tailored mechanical solutions and CAD designs to meet customer needs.
- Prepare project documentation — RAMS, test packs, handover records, etc.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to scope and cost projects.
- Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
🧠 What You’ll Bring
- HND/Degree in Mechanical (or related) Engineering.
- 2–3+ years’ experience in project-based engineering (mechanical or process).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing/production methods and CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Proven ability to deliver turnkey installations end-to-end.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence (field-based with site visits).
