I am working with a leading-edge technology company developing revolutionary technologies that can help transition to net-zero emissions and a sustainable clean energy economy.
They are seeking a highly motivated Reliability Manager to ensure that components, subsystems, and systems meet robustness, reliability, and durability requirements over their entire lifecycle, from concept to production and field use.
The successful candidate will be responsible to apply reliability methods, standards, and testing to ensure compliance with OEM and customer expectations, industry regulations, and standards such as AEC-Q100/Q200, ISO 26262, IATF 16949, VDA Robustness Validation, and OEM-specific requirements.
KEY DUTIES
- Define and implement reliability plans, test strategies, and qualification programs according to customer requirements and automotive standards (AEC-Q100/Q200, VDA Robustness Validation, ISO 26262, IATF 16949).
- Conduct risk assessments (DFMEA, PFMEA, FTA, reliability block diagrams) and support design-for-reliability activities.
- Plan and execute accelerated life tests, stress tests, environmental testing, and HALT/HASS, including data analysis and reporting.
- Lead and document AEC-Q qualification programs for semiconductors and electronic components.
- Translate customer requirements and standards into test protocols and acceptance criteria.
- Interface with customers, suppliers, and certification bodies on reliability-related requirements, reviews, and reports.
EXPERIENCE
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Electronics or Electrical engineering (or similar applicable field).
- 3-7 years of reliability, quality, or validation engineering experience in the automotive or semiconductor industry. Preferred experience in semiconductor reliability testing, with embedded non-volatile memory.
- Experienced with IC reliability stress methods such as HTOL, bHAST, HTS, ESD, LU, etc.
- Hands-on experience in reliability lab testing and equipment.
- Familiar with fault isolation and failure analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of semiconductor and package reliability failure mechanisms.
- Experience with automotive standards: AEC-Q100/Q200 / Q005, ISO 26262, IATF 16949, VDA MLA/Robustness Validation, APQP, PPAP and JESD22.
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) and/or cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434).
- Proficiency in tools such as Weibull++, Minitab, Reliasoft, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English; German is a plus.
