Opportunity Overview
We’re looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused
Project Co-ordinator to join our
Strategic Portfolio Office (SPO). You’ll play a vital role in coordinating the
Strategic Change Team and supporting the delivery of change initiatives that help shape the University’s future. Working closely with colleagues across the
Strategic Change Network, you’ll connect activity, build capability, and showcase impact. Through effective coordination, clear communication, and strong teamwork, you’ll help the team work efficiently and visibly—supporting the University’s ambition to deliver positive, people-focused change.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide coordination across the Strategic Change Team, ensuring alignment between Head of Strategic Change, Business Change Managers, the Engagement Lead, and project initiatives.
- Maintain a clear view of team activities, priorities, and dependencies to support effective planning and decision-making.
- Provide administrative and logistical support, including meeting coordination, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Facilitate operational consistency in processes, reporting, and engagement across the team.
- Act as the central point of contact for information sharing, progress updates, and team-wide communications.

The Strategic Portfolio Office (SPO) enables the delivery of the University’s strategic portfolio by working in partnership with our university community to advise, support, and empower teams to enact change. We provide guidance, tools, and resources to ensure high-quality delivery and monitoring of our strategic projects.
The SPO is structured into three teams:
Governance, which ensures clear frameworks and oversight;
Delivery, which supports project execution and alignment with strategic objectives; and
Change, which drives adoption and sustainable impact across the university. Together, we embed effective project management and change practices to enable our portfolio to deliver real benefits.
