Our company
Until recently I was CMO at a UK MediaCo with +30yrs experience and I am working with two co-founders who have experience in Marketing Systems and Database Development, and Sales to build a start-up called digital:clock - a small (so far) company of fantastic and diverse people who want to do amazing work - to solve two massive problems for Marketers (like me).
digital:clock is a high precision AI technology product for Marketing Teams with an ML architecture inspired by Yann Lecun’s (love him) ‘World Model Cognitive Modular Architecture’ solving two massive problems that the market isn’t solving in Planning and generating high quality leads.
We have a wire frame of our data flow, a user interface design and a draft of our AI model architecture. We have a Dev Partner - a $200mn global business who we’re partnering with to build and test our model. We are self-funded up to test build and we’re talking to angel investors about funding to accelerate (happy to tell you more about this).
The role
We’re looking for a Masters Graduate Machine Learning expert to help shape our ML strategy, architect the model, and build it from the ground up - we know the market and how to sell but we can’t build (!) - stuff like this:
- Work with co-founders, CEO / CMO and COO (Marketing Systems and Database Development) to identify the right ML strategy for digital:clock.
- Work with a senior ML expert who’ll be a freelance advisor / helper / soundingboard to Architect the model and build it from the ground up.
- This is for two products - one to help marketers plan email sends, the other to generate leads for sales teams - both involve optimising audience data and minimising cost.
- This involves understanding how to see historical firmographic and behavioural data in client’s data stack, run our AI model on it to give the planning and lead scoring outcomes to Marketers and integrate with client’s Marketing Platform.
- Build integration between our AI model and our User Interface.
- Build zero shot API / integration into client’s data stack and marketing platform.
- Possibility of working with MILA (University of Montreal outreach company founded by Yoshua Benjio) to validate possible advanced AI model approach.
- Work with Development Partner client who has live data stack and Marketing Platform to test and optimise our model - they’re a global $200mn business (I used to work there and know the VIP Marketing).
Skills
We’re looking to build a really fun working environment with fantastic and diverse people who want to do amazing work - stuff like this:
- Love building / solving / creating.
- Happy to work remotely with regular weekly face-to-face or remote catch ups with founders, and remote meetings where needed.
- Excited by the chance to build a foundational AI model in the Marcoms space.
- Self-starter, happy to discuss a brief and go off and build - working with freelance senior ML expert.
- Happy to work with Dev Partner and have conversations with them about our test and build.
- Excited by the chance to work with MILA.
- Able to join us to attend Angel Investor meetings or liaise with their tech team to discuss what we have built as part of their investment due diligence.
- Can build ML from ground up, ideally know about or possibly have worked with EBMs (Energy Based Models).
