PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £29,500 - £39,500, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
BBC Sport is at the heart of the world’s major sporting events. Our teams make sure that every day, throughout the year our audiences are served with the sporting stories that matter as well as providing world class coverage of the events themselves. As a Production Co-ordinator in BBC Sport, you would play a key role providing logistical and co-ordination support in planning, the live gallery in studio and on OBs and in post-production.

You'll have the opportunity to work with our Football team on live galleries for studio and/or OBs.
Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
- Perform the Gallery PA role on both timed and live event programmes
- Ensure that our weekly programme output (whether studio or OB) is efficiently and thoroughly planned and within budget
- Provide logistical and coordination support to a production team on one or more productions and platforms, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with BBC policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Support initiatives to improve efficiency, promote diversity, and reduce environmental impact.
Essential Criteria
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong organisational and coordination skills within a production environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in timings, post production paperwork, and logistical planning across live and recorded productions.
- Specialist live gallery PA skills on timed programmes and live event programmes
- Ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external providers.
- An understanding of the content produced across our sport department
Desired But Not Required
- Familiarity with sustainability practices in production.
- Ability to mentor or support less experienced colleagues.
- Experience of working in Sport production
- Experience of working in OBs
