The Role: Registered Building Inspector:
As a key part of our regional Building Control team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting safe, compliant construction across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects. You’ll be the trusted expert our clients turn to — combining strong technical insight with a proactive, relationship-driven approach.
What you’ll be doing:
• Carrying out site inspections on new-build and conversion projects, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations
• Reviewing plans and technical documentation, offering clear, solution-focused feedback
• Managing your workload effectively to deliver a professional, responsive service
• Using our digital systems to record inspection details and communicate outcomes
• Providing ongoing technical support to developers, builders, designers, and clients
• Building strong long-term relationships within your region
What We’re Looking For:
You’ll thrive here if you enjoy autonomy, variety, and making a real impact on the safety and quality of the built environment.
You’ll bring:
• BSR Registration (minimum Class 2D)
• Strong technical competence and practical inspection experience
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach
• Professional membership: MRICS / MCABE / MCIOB (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and current Building Regulations
