AI Lead / AI Tech Lead (Contract – 6 Months)
We’re looking for an experienced AI Lead / AI Tech Lead to help design and build a new AI platform for a growing organisation operating in a data-sensitive environment.
This is a hands-on role for someone who has built, deployed, and owned AI solutions in production, with a strong focus on security, data protection, and accuracy.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the design and build of a new AI platform
- Developing AI-driven products and features to improve customer experience
- Ensuring AI solutions are secure, auditable, and compliant
- Reviewing, monitoring, and logging AI usage
- Working closely with software engineers and partnering with a data engineering team
- Setting standards around accuracy, reliability, and responsible AI use
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as an AI Lead, AI Tech Lead, or Senior AI Engineer
- Deep, practical experience building AI solutions (not just integrating APIs)
- Strong understanding of security, data protection, and governance
- Experience working with PII, worker data, or regulated data environments
- High attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and quality

Role Summary
- 6-month contract initially
- Day rate of between £500 - £550 outside of IR35
- Location - Fully remote
