We’re looking for a Senior Energy Consultant to join our commercial energy team, working with SME clients to deliver tailored, value-led energy solutions. This is a consultative sales role for someone who thrives on building relationships, exceeding targets, and adding real value to customers.
As a Senior Energy Consultant, you’ll engage with both existing and prospective SME clients via outbound calls, advising on commercial energy contracts and guiding businesses toward competitive, fit-for-purpose energy solutions.
You’ll manage your own client portfolio, identify new opportunities, and play a key role in driving revenue growth while maintaining high compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Proactively contact SME decision-makers to identify energy procurement opportunities ✔ Provide expert, consultative advice on energy contracts, pricing, and market options ✔ Build and manage a portfolio of SME and multi-site clients ✔ Identify and develop new business opportunities ✔ Manage your sales pipeline accurately using CRM systems ✔ Negotiate and manage contracts through to completion ✔ Stay up to date with market trends, pricing movements, and regulatory changes ✔ Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales targets
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Minimum 2 years’ B2B energy sales experience (essential) ✔ Proven success in consultative sales environments ✔ Strong telephone manner and excellent communication skills ✔ Experience handling multi-site or corporate energy contracts ✔ Highly organised, self-motivated, and target-driven ✔ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional sales environment
Salary & Benefits:
£30,000+ basic salary (negotiable DOE)
