In this role you will lead the analysis and evaluation of measured energy data and Energy Performance Certificates to manage the performance of both existing and new projects. You will be responsible for generating carbon reduction, energy, and cost savings proposals by designing future-proof sustainable energy systems tailored for residential and commercial clients.
The Role
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients across surveying, retrofit, and installation teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
- Optimize Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pump systems to ensure long-term performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Take ownership of individual projects and manage professional compliance documentation.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and design revisions during the installation phase.
Required Skills And Experience
- Strong practical understanding of energy efficiency, carbon reduction strategies, and environmental literacy.
- Knowledge of Solar, Heat Pump, and other renewable energy technologies.
- Solid understanding of design regulations within the built environment, including a grasp of existing and future legislation.
- Experience in technical reporting and the interpretation of data from a variety of sources.
- High level of numerical accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Competency in using technical software, database systems, Microsoft Office, and the Adobe suite.
- Proven organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and communicate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.
- A Degree in a relevant discipline such as Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sustainability, Renewable Energy, or Systems Design.
