AI / ML Implementation Consultant

A leading consultancy is partnering with a VFX client to deliver practical, production-ready AI/ML tooling that supports critical creative workflows. They’re looking for a hands-on AI / ML Implementation Consultant who thrives on building, integrating, and shipping real solutions - not just defining strategy.
This is a short, focused engagement where impact matters. You’ll work closely with technical leads and project managers to rapidly design, prototype, and implement AI/ML models that address clearly defined workflow challenges within a live production environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for translating operational requirements into functional AI/ML solutions and integrations that can be tested and used in production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and implement AI/ML tools aligned with VFX production needs
- Collaborate with engineering, pipeline, and consultancy delivery teams
- Translate workflow requirements into clear technical specifications and implementation plans
- Evaluate, optimise, and refine model performance for production reliability
- Troubleshoot issues, iterate quickly, and support controlled testing phases
- Produce clear documentation and handover materials
- Advise on best-practice implementation approaches within tight timelines
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on AI/ML engineering experience with a delivery mindset
- Proven experience deploying models or tooling in production or near-production environments
- Ability to work independently and deliver within compressed schedules
- Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience working within structured consultancy projects
