Admin Assistant – Remote (Immediate Start)

We’re Recharge Renewable – Solar PV, EV Chargers & Battery Storage Experts, a growing and passionate team helping homes and businesses take control of their energy costs with bespoke solar panel, EV charger, and battery storage solutions. Based near Weston-Super-Mare and working across Bristol, Somerset, and the wider UK, we’ve got over 20 years of experience and a big focus on customer satisfaction, quality, and sustainability.
Due to increased demand and business growth, we’re looking for a friendly and organised Admin/Accounts Assistant to join us and hit the ground running! You must be UK based, and ideally located within 50 miles of Weston Super Mare.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our small, busy team you’ll be responsible for:
Answering phones, taking messages, and communicating with the team
Responding to email and phone enquiries promptly
Proofreading and processing certificates and documents — attaching them to jobs
Scheduling work and coordinating with our electricians and solar panel installers
Handling Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger tasks
Helping keep things organised in Xero and Hubdoc (experience is a big plus!)
This role reports directly to the Office Boss — expect to be busy, relied on, and appreciated!
What We’re Looking For
You’ll succeed in this role if you:
Are organised, reliable, and proactive
Have SimPro experience (huge advantage!)
Know your way around Xero and Hubdoc (bonus!)
Have a good sense of UK geography — Bristol, Weston-super-Mare, and nearby areas (helpful for scheduling)
Have excellent communication skills
