Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Electric Vehicle Engineer located in Slough. The role involves the installation, maintenance, and servicing of electric vehicle charging stations. Key responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with clients to provide excellent customer service. The engineer will also contribute to system upgrades and may provide technical support for software-related troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in electrical systems, installation processes, and diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of electric vehicle charging technology and related industry standards
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities in technical environments
- Strong communication and customer service skills for client interaction
- Capability to work on-site in a safe and efficient manner
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field
- Experience in the renewable energy or electric vehicle industry is a plus
- Full, clean driving license to undertake work at various sites
