Role Overview:
Alutec is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facade Design to support façade design activities for the prestigious Qiddiya Project in Riyadh. The successful candidate will act as a key link between design teams, project management, consultants, and site operations, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of design packages in line with project requirements, schedules, and quality standards.
This role is ideal for a candidate with strong technical knowledge of façade systems and excellent coordination skills within large-scale construction or giga-project environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the flow of façade design information between internal design teams, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
- Review and manage design deliverables, ensuring alignment with project specifications, architectural intent, and engineering standards.
- Track design submissions, approvals, revisions, and ensure timely distribution of updated drawings and documents.
- Support the resolution of technical queries (RFI) and design-related issues arising during project execution.
- Facilitate communication between design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure buildable and cost-effective solutions.
- Participate in design coordination meetings, workshops, and site visits as required.
- Ensure compliance with Qiddiya project guidelines, client requirements, and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of design documentation, logs, and correspondence.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience:
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in façade design coordination or technical roles within construction or engineering firms.
- Experience working on large-scale or giga-projects (e.g., Qiddiya, NEOM, Red Sea) is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of façade systems, aluminium and glass structures, cladding, and curtain wall designs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination tools (e.g., Navisworks).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
