Electrician
Location – Dunfermline
Salary – up to £42.5k per annum DoE, plus Van/ IPad/ Fuel Card / Expenses/ Overtime payable after 40-hours weekdays and at weekends
MUST HAVE VALID ECS GRADE CARD & FULL UK DRIVERS LICENSE

Zed Talent’s client provides electrical services for commercial and domestic projects throughout Scotland
Due to Our Clients continued growth plans, they currently seek Electricians to work on projects throughout Scotland. Projects range from small domestic works to large scale electrical installations for both public and private sector clients. Further to this they have branched into the Renewable industry, working on projects with customers in EV home charging, commercial charge installation as well as Solar PV and battery storage.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation: Installing solar panels, inverters, batteries, and EV charging points.
Electrical Work: Performing general electrical work, including wiring, connecting, and testing systems.
Testing and Commissioning: Ensuring systems are functioning correctly and safely.
Maintenance and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing faults in solar and EV charging systems.
Compliance: Adhering to electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
Customer Interaction: Advising customers on system use, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of work completed.
Teamwork: Collaborating with other team members and potentially coordinating logistics.
Physical Demands: Handling the physical requirements of the job, which may include working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Electrical Qualifications: A relevant electrical qualification, such as a Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification and BS 7671 (Requirements for Electrical Installations).
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: The ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults.
Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Safety Awareness: A strong understanding of safety regulations and practices
Solar PV Experience: Experience with solar PV system installation and maintenance would be highly desirable.
EV Charger Installation Experience: Experience with EV charging point installation would also prove valuable.
