Role: Solar Guru (UK-based)
As a Solar Guru, you’ll use your technical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and batteries to give independent, jargon-free advice to clients. While most of your work will be home-based, the role will also involve occasional site visits across the UK to review installations and provide on-site guidance.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver 30-minute Solar Consultations (booked directly into your calendar).
- Review solar quotations and provide independent analysis for clients.
- Translate technical details into clear, simple explanations for homeowners and businesses.
- Carry out site visits to assess installations and provide assurance.
- Work primarily from home, with flexible hours.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong technical understanding of solar PV, batteries, inverters, and EV charger integration.
- Excellent communication skills — able to explain complex ideas simply.
- Customer-first attitude with an independent mindset.
- Previous experience in solar installation, system design, or renewable energy consultancy preferred.
- Must be UK-based and willing to travel for site visits when required.
