We are currently seeking an O&M Country Manager to lead and oversee the operation and maintenance of our photovoltaic projects across the United Kingdom.
The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the O&M Site Managers, ensuring that all plants operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with technical, legal, and contractual standards. Acting as the operational point of reference at a national level, this role plays a key part in driving excellence in performance, safety, and client satisfaction.
👉🏻 Main Responsibilities
- Standardise and regularly update work document formats and procedures (reports, preventive maintenance plans, monthly PR Excel sheets, procedures, etc.).
- Review monthly reports and monitor incidents to ensure the correct performance of the plants.
- Carry out and validate PR calculations for IAC and FAC, presenting them clearly to the client.
- Coordinate IAC and FAC activities, managing all related documentation and ensuring timely delivery to the client.
- Act as a direct liaison with Asset Managers and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure the health and safety of workers and compliance with environmental regulations.
- Support Site Managers in solving technical and management issues, including strategic decision-making with clients and subcontractors.
- Oversee plant performance during Site Manager absences (holidays, leave, etc.).
- Report periodically to the O&M Director on performance indicators (PRs) and project status.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and management systems (Quality, Health & Safety, Environment).
- Maintain order and efficiency across all work areas.
👉🏻 Technical Profile
- Degree in Engineering or Technical/Superior Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or similar).
- Postgraduate training or specialisation in Solar Photovoltaic Energy.
- Advanced level of English (fluent spoken and written).
- Over 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of design, operation, and maintenance of solar plants; experience with PVSYST or similar software.
- Understanding of communication architecture, sensors, and control actuators for PV plants.
- Familiarity with meteorological sensors and data analysis.
- Excellent command of monitoring software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of medium-voltage (MV) equipment.
- Health & Safety (H&S) training.
- Basic understanding of environmental management applied to construction and maintenance activities.
