Junior Technical Safety Engineer Permanent Operator
Projects: Oil&Gas /Carbon Capture / Onshore / Offshore / Hydrogen / Renewables /Refinery / Petrochemical
Key Responsibilities
Undertake analysis, calculations, and engineering studies as assigned, producing technical safety deliverables per company standards and international codes.
- Demonstrate experience in delivering Technical Safety work, including:
- Loss Prevention Activities (e.g., F&G Design, Active/Passive Fire Protection, Hazardous Area Classification).
- Risk Analysis (e.g., QRA, FERA, EERA, ESSA, Flare/Vent Studies).
- Development of HSE-related Philosophies.
- Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Studies.
- Conduct HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL assessments.
- Supervise subordinates to ensure technical standards and project schedules are met.
- Participate in the development of company standards and procedures when assigned.
- Assist with manhour estimates and planning activities for proposals and projects when required.
- Stay updated on technical developments, relevant standards, and departmental procedures.
- Actively participate in technical safety reviews, such as HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL assessments.
Minimum RequirementsDegree in engineering
- Experience in various project phases, including Concept, Basic/FEED, and Detail Engineering, for both onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects.
